Tired of talking turkey? Don’t give up on the game just yet.  When you emerge from your tryptophan coma you may discover that you may no longer be stuffed, but your fridge still is!

That leftover turkey and those other edible dishes remain tucked away in their appropriate Tupperware proving to us that, Thanksgiving, is definitely the holiday that keeps on giving.  The following eight great web sites will enable you to take what food is left and turn it into delicious meals your family will enjoy over and over again.

#1. The Food Network - Turkey for breakfast? Yes, please. The Food Network dishes up all types of leftover recipes from new breakfast spins like Turkey Hash with Mashed Potato Cakes to a classic, Next Day Turkey Soup. Several recipes are courtesy of your favorite Food Network hosts Rachel, Emeril, Giada, Guy, and even Paula, “A stick of butter with Turkey bits and pieces, you got yourself another hearty meal y’all.”

#2. RazzleDazzleRecipes.com - There is an abundance of recipes on this site. From turkey nachos, to several kinds of turkey bakes, to a dish known as the Gobbler Cobbler, you will certainly be able to go through your turkey supply. Be forewarned though, after making one of these recipes you may razzle and, you guessed it, dazzle the fam.

#3. About.com - Click on this site to find recipes from hot and cold turkey salads to turkey pizzas, and a turkey cordon bleu dish where you can throw in that remaining ham you may have at home. Your family will be curious about how you became so creative with turkey and all the extra trimmings.

#4. Better Homes and Gardens - Want to spice up that surplus of food. Visit this website and you will find dishes that head south of the border. Check out the Turkey Tortilla Soup or Cran-Turkey Enchiladas to add a Spanish flare to that pavo de sobrante (leftover turkey).

#5. Allrecipes.com - This site will instruct you how to make all kinds of recipes-hence the name. Pasta dishes you may have never even thought existed come to you on this webpage, like Turkey Tetrazzini and Italian Turkey Pasta Skillet. You may hardly have to use your noodle here, each recipe is very descriptive and explanatory.

#6.  My Recipes.com - If you are more of a visual chef, click on this link and go to the site that will show videos of leftover entrees that you can create. Fancy spins on your extras include Turkey Mushroom Bread Pudding and Turkey Soup Provencal which look and sound like a task to prepare, but you will soon discover they are a cinch to concoct after viewing the videos.

#7. RecipeTips.com - While searching this site you will find standard recipes for a turkey pot pie or other ideas on how to turn that turkey into something a little more adventurous. For instance, a Turkey Craisin Phyllo Bundle, Turkey Paella or even a Turkey Panini. The basic turkey sandwich on white bread gets a whole new twist when you add cranberry and pears to it and place it in a grill. Definitely a tip you will want to try!

#8. CDKitchen.com - Now that the weather is getting chilly how about making a bowl of turkey chili from those turkey scraps? There are numerous takes on chili recipes all using turkey as the main ingredient. If a warm bowl of chili isn’t your top choice, you can scroll through Turkey gumbo recipes or several different casseroles to stuff with those excess fixins.

Some of us may have already pledged we were starting a diet after this past Thursday, but come on now, I would rather eat the rest of bird than eat like one, wouldn’t you?
