Audiences can now see the fruit of the indie filmmakers’ creative and collaborative efforts, and vote for the best flick during the Inland Empire World Premiere theater screenings, Aug. 18-19, at UltraStar Cinemas-University Village in Riverside.
With recent temperatures stretching into triple digits and worried consumers looking for ways to save on air-conditioning bills, it’s easy to see the appeal that a darkened theater holds for heat-weary guests.
“We’ve been at this awhile, so we know how to get the crowd on their feet and dancing,” said Johnston, adding that upbeat, rock-hard tunes will feature prominently in the Sept. 10 performance.
