It’s the first of two home games the team will play at Vista Murrieta and the first time in nearly 20 years the college has partnered with a local high school to play two of its home games on a high school football field.
Ramirez could have blocked being sent to the White Sox because he had a no-trade clause in his contract, but he declined to do so. The White Sox will pay his nearly $4 million salary for the rest of the season.
