BetMGM Promo Code: Existing Users Get Reloads, Not Codes

BetMGM Promo Code: What a New Account Picks vs. What an Old One Gets

Searching "BetMGM promo code" today surfaces a handful of codes — GOALMAX, GOALMAXGET, GOALGET — each tied to a different new-customer welcome structure, plus a separate, mostly code-free set of promotions for accounts that already exist. This page covers how the code actually gets entered and what, specifically, an existing BetMGM account can still claim.

A “BetMGM promo code” search today turns up GOALMAX, GOALMAXGET, and GOALGET — three real codes, each picking a different new-customer welcome structure, not three names for the same offer. What most of those pages don’t cover is the part that actually matters once the account already exists: how the code gets entered in the first place, and what’s left for a bettor who signed up months ago.

Entering the Code Is Part of Signup, Not a Separate Step

There’s no redeem-a-code page tucked inside an existing BetMGM account. The code field (or a pre-selected offer tile, if the signup started from a tracked link) sits on the registration flow itself, before the first deposit. Pick a state, create the account, select the offer, deposit at least $10, place the qualifying wager. Miss that window and there’s no way to retroactively apply a code to an account that’s already live.

Which code does what — GOALMAX, GOALMAXGET, and GOALGET pay out differently (up to $1,500 loss-back, $1,000 spread over 10 days, or a flat $150) and the full breakdown lives on BetMGM Welcome Bonus Code. This page isn’t repeating that math.

BetMGM Promo Code for Existing Users

This is the half of the query most comparison pages skip, because the welcome offer is the only thing they’re paid to push. An account that already exists cannot claim GOALMAX or either of its siblings again — Fox News’ own October 2026 coverage is explicit that the welcome structure is new-customer-only. What an existing account does see, inside the app’s Promotions tab or by email, is a rotating mix:

Deposit reload: a bonus-bet credit on a new deposit, generally smaller and shorter-dated than the welcome structure
Odds boost: enhanced odds on a specific, rotating game or market
Parlay profit boost: a percentage boost on a qualifying multi-leg bet

None of it arrives as a code typed into a box — it shows up tagged to the account, and which promotions a given bettor sees depends on their state and betting history. BetMGM doesn’t publish one standing existing-user offer the way it does the three-way welcome menu.

Not Every Promo Travels to Every Licensed State

The welcome codes work anywhere BetMGM Sportsbook is actually licensed. The existing-user promotions are less uniform — at least one tracked-offer site has flagged Mississippi and New York as sitting outside some of the ongoing reload and boost promotions, even though both states have a live BetMGM sportsbook. The Promotions tab for the account’s own state, not a generic national list, is the only reliable source for what’s actually running.

Casino Runs a Separate Promo Entirely

None of the GOALMAX-family codes touch BetMGM Casino, which exists in just four states — Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia — and runs its own deposit-match welcome path, detailed on BetMGM Deposit Bonus Code. Sportsbook and casino promo codes at BetMGM don’t overlap or substitute for each other.

Treat any bonus bet, reload, or boost as promotional value, not income — the wager underneath it carries the same risk as a cash bet. 21+ where legal. 1-800-GAMBLER if it stops feeling like entertainment.

BetMGM promo code — Frequently Asked Questions

What is the BetMGM promo code today?

One of three: GOALMAX (up to $1,500 back in bonus bets if a first wager loses), GOALMAXGET (up to $1,000 in no-sweat tokens spread across 10 days), or GOALGET (bet $10, get $150 in bonus bets regardless of outcome). A new account picks one during signup; BetMGM Welcome Bonus Code breaks down which fits which bettor.

How do I actually enter a BetMGM promo code?

It is a field on the registration screen itself, not a code redeemed afterward — select a state, create the account, and the promo code box (or a pre-selected offer tile, depending on how the signup was reached) appears before the first deposit. There is no separate "redeem code" page inside an already-created account.

Is there a BetMGM promo code for existing users?

Not in the new-account sense. The three welcome codes are locked to first-time, ID-verified signups. Existing accounts instead see deposit reloads, odds boosts, and profit boosts on parlays inside the app's Promotions tab or by email — real value, just not gated behind a code typed anywhere.

What is the minimum deposit for a BetMGM promo code to work?

All three welcome structures require a minimum $10 deposit tied to the qualifying first wager. Bonus bets from GOALMAX settle within 7 days of being credited and expire unused after that window; they are not withdrawable directly — only net winnings from using one convert to cash.

Does a BetMGM promo code work in every state the sportsbook operates in?

The welcome codes do, across BetMGM's licensed sportsbook footprint. The existing-user promotions are less consistent — trackers have flagged Mississippi and New York as excluded from some ongoing reload or boost offers even though the sportsbook itself is live there. Check the Promotions tab for the account's own state rather than assuming every promo is universal.

Do BetMGM casino and sportsbook promo codes work the same way?

No. The GOALMAX-family codes are sportsbook-only. BetMGM Casino, live in Michigan, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia, runs a separate deposit-match welcome path covered on BetMGM Deposit Bonus Code — the two do not share a code or a structure.
