Does Sleeper accept PayPal? No. Whether the question is about Sleeper Picks, the pick’em DFS product, or Sleeper Markets, the NFA-approved prediction-market side of the app, the answer doesn’t change: PayPal has never been part of the cashier.

What Actually Funds a Sleeper Account

Three options cover deposits: a linked debit or credit card, a bank account for ACH transfers, and Apple Pay. Payouts return to whichever method funded the account, or move out as a bank transfer. That’s the whole list — no e-wallet layer, no PayPal, no Venmo or Cash App.

Why no PayPal: PayPal restricts its use for daily fantasy sports and prediction-market products across a large chunk of the country, which makes it an awkward rail to standardize on nationally. Card networks and ACH don’t carry that same patchwork of restrictions, which is likely why Sleeper built around them instead.

One Cashier, Two Products

Sleeper Markets is a separate legal product from Sleeper Picks — an NFA-approved Futures Commission Merchant routing sports event contracts onto Kalshi’s exchange, rather than a DFS pick’em contest. But it shares the same funding menu. Moving money into Team Picks trades uses the identical card, ACH, or Apple Pay options as entering a Sleeper Picks lineup; there’s no separate, PayPal-enabled path just for the Markets side.

Who This Setup Works For

  • Already have a linked card or bank account: deposits and payouts move through Sleeper’s existing rails without friction.
  • iPhone users: Apple Pay is a fast option that skips manually entering card details.
  • Want PayPal specifically: Sleeper isn’t built for that on either the Picks or Markets side — a different app is the only fix, and its own payments page should be checked directly rather than assumed.
