Fanatics Arkansas is a sportsbook that was never built, and the state isn’t new territory for the Fanatics name — it’s the second door that has closed on it. Years before Fanatics Betting and Gaming existed, Fanatics Inc. lost the University of Arkansas’s official Razorbacks merchandise contract. In 2026, when Arkansas finally opened a mobile sportsbook market, Fanatics missed that one too.

Is Fanatics Legal in Arkansas? Two Slots, Already Taken

Arkansas voters approved Issue 4 in November 2018 by a 54-46% margin, amending the state constitution (now Amendment 100) to allow casino gaming and on-site sports wagering at exactly four named casinos: Oaklawn in Hot Springs, Southland in West Memphis, Saracen in Pine Bluff, and the Pope County property now operating as Legends Resort & Casino. Each casino may contract with up to two national mobile sportsbook brands, for a theoretical statewide cap of eight. On February 26, 2026, the Arkansas Racing Commission approved the first two such deals — FanDuel with Oaklawn, DraftKings with Southland — and that mobile product launched March 20, 2026. Fanatics wasn’t part of either deal.

The merch deal Arkansas already pulled: Before Fanatics was a sportsbook company at all, Football Fanatics / TeamFanShop ran the University of Arkansas athletic department’s official online store, HogWiredShop.com. The university handed that license to Dyehard Fan Supply on July 1, 2018. Fanatics still sells Razorbacks gear today, just not as the school’s chosen vendor.

Is Fanatics Legit or Safe in Arkansas? Neither Question Applies Yet

Both questions presume a product exists to judge. Fanatics Sportsbook is a real, regulated operator in 23 states plus Washington D.C. as of August 2026, running on licenses inherited from its $225 million acquisition of PointsBet’s US business. None of those licenses cover Arkansas, so there is no Fanatics app, account, or branded counter in the state for anyone to vouch for — or distrust. Geolocation would reject an Arkansas login exactly the way it rejects any address outside the live footprint.

Could That Change?

Two of Arkansas’s four casinos still haven’t filled both vendor seats. Saracen runs its own in-house app rather than a national brand, and Legends Resort & Casino in Pope County had no sportsbook live at all as of 2026 while construction and legal challenges continued. Either one could still sign a national vendor. Nothing in Fanatics’ public 2026 expansion pattern, which has run through states like Missouri rather than Arkansas, points to that being imminent.

Who It Fits

Nobody in Arkansas today, if the question is whether there’s a Fanatics sportsbook to use. Arkansas bettors 21 and older can use FanDuel through Oaklawn or DraftKings through Southland; Fanatics isn’t a third option yet. Betting is entertainment, never income.
