BC.Game and DraftKings both get called “major online gambling brands,” but the label is doing different work in each case. DraftKings is a Nasdaq-listed sportsbook that answers to a different state regulator in every market it operates. BC.Game is a crypto casino that has already been through one operator bankruptcy tied to unpaid winnings, and it will not let a US player create an account at all — before or after that bankruptcy.

Is BC.Game or DraftKings Legal in the US?
DraftKings answers with a map: 27 states plus Washington D.C. as of August 2026, Arkansas the most recent addition on March 20. Outside that map — California, Texas, Florida, and the rest of the dark list — there is no DraftKings sportsbook to open, full stop. BC.Game doesn't have a US map to check at all. The United States sits on its restricted-jurisdiction list alongside the UK, France, and the Netherlands, and the one workaround that briefly existed, a sweepstakes-model spinoff called BCGame.us, was discontinued in 2026. There is currently no BC.Game product open to American players in any state.
The bankruptcy is the part most head-to-heads skip. BC.Game's original operating entities, BlockDance B.V. and Small House B.V., were declared bankrupt in November 2024 after claims brought on behalf of players over more than $2.1 million in withheld winnings. The brand re-emerged a month later under a new operator and a lighter-touch Comoros-based licensor. DraftKings, a public company since 2020, has no equivalent episode on its record.
Is BC.Game or DraftKings More Legit?
DraftKings' legitimacy is easy to verify — a Nasdaq ticker, published quarterly financials, and a named gaming regulator in every one of its licensed states. BC.Game's case has to be weighed against its own recent history: nine years online and one of the larger crypto casino-and-sportsbook game libraries on one side, a bankruptcy tied directly to unpaid player balances less than two years ago on the other. Scale is real for both brands. Only one of them has a public balance sheet to back it up.
How Safe Is Each One?
In a live DraftKings state, safety comes from a named state gaming commission that can fine or delicense the operator, geolocation that enforces the state line, and standard tools like deposit limits and self-exclusion. BC.Game currently runs under an Anjouan Gaming Authority license — lighter-touch than the Curaçao regime it left in December 2024, itself already a lower bar than any US state commission. Its crypto-only banking also means no card network or bank to dispute a withheld payout through, the same structural gap that left 2024's BC.Game claimants waiting on a bankruptcy filing before seeing any resolution.
Which One for Who
In a licensed DraftKings state, this isn't close: a regulated, publicly traded sportsbook beats an offshore casino a US reader can't even sign up for. In a DraftKings-dark state, BC.Game still isn't the fallback — it blocks the US regardless of what any individual state has licensed. Outside the US, BC.Game is a real option for crypto-comfortable players who have weighed its 2024 bankruptcy and lighter licensor against its scale; DraftKings, outside its licensed states, mostly isn't reachable at all. Treat either one as entertainment, not income — 21+ where DraftKings is licensed, and not an option at all for a US player on BC.Game.
